Vidya Malvade rose to fame with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chak De! India. The actress was last seen in the Netflix web series Mismatched. And now she is gearing up for her upcoming project Bamini And Boys. The mini-series will see Vidya portray a role that she finds to be very contrast from her real self.

The actress will be seen playing a party animal in the mini-series. Sharing about her character in Bamini And Boys, Vidya told Hans India, “This was an exciting challenge I took up. There was so much to experiment with my character since I am generally very quiet whereas Bamini is the complete opposite. She is a party animal. This was definitely a good change for me.”

In the series, Vidya will be seen playing an alluring woman. She has three young boys as her tenants and they all are trying to win her attention in order to impress her. The actress will be sharing the screen space with Akashdeep Arora, Rishab Chadda and Anuj Pandit in Bamini and Boys.

“I play Bamini, who is drop-dead gorgeous and uses it for her benefit but is not egoistic about it. She is a single mother who is very ambitious, generous, fun-loving and loves all the attention she gets. Playing the role of Bamini has been a fun roller ride for me since I have never played such an animated fun and a child-woman like character.” Vidya added further.

Sharing a BTS glimpse of her character on Instagram, Vidya wrote, “She’s already got a nickname #BombshellBamini ??
