Coldplay’s Chris Martin sang ‘Channa Mereya’ and squeezed all our hearts a little

If you thought that the goosebumpy ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’ alongside AR Rahman was the only Indian gig that Chris Martin did, you might be a tad mistaken. The singer also sang a few verses out of the latest heart wrenching love anthem of a broken heart, ‘Channa Mereya’.

Wasn’t that beautiful? While we agree that it was imperfect in the broken way Chris sang the verse, but you have to admit, it had a beautiful vibe to it.

We wonder what did Arijit Singh, the one who rendered his soulful voice to this beautiful number from ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, think of it. Coincidentally, he too was performing at the fest.
