Today, reports of composer Wajid Khan of Sajid-Wajid duo being hospitalised were doing the rounds. A report in Times of India stated that the musician suffered from an extreme arterial blockage last night and was rushed to a hospital after he complained of severe chest pain. Reportedly, an angioplasty was performed on Wajid as one of his arteries had a hundred percentage blockage, and the other was 90 per cent blocked.

However, the composer is hale and hearty and he took to a micro-blogging site to refute all the reports regarding his ill-health. Wajid wrote, “Hi everyone. The rumours about my ill health are FALSE, I am absolutely fine. This has shown me how much you all care about me & for that I can only say thank you for all your love & concern I’m feeling very loved today :-)”

Composer duo Sajid-Wajid first composed the music of Salman Khan starrer ‘Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya’ and post that there was no looking back. Since their debut, they have formed a great rapport with Salman Khan and have given some hit songs in his films like ‘Partner’, ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Wanted’.

Wajid has even lent his voice to several of hit Salman Khan songs like ‘Mashallah’ from the film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Fevicol Se’ from ‘Dabangg 2’ and ‘Tujhe Aksa Beach Ghuma Doon’ from ‘God Tussi Great Ho’ to name a few.

We are glad that Wajid personally clarified the rumours about his health.
