Confirmed! Hrithik to play mathematician Anand Kumar in his biopic

The speculations are over and rumours have come true! Superstar Hrithik Roshan is all set to play the titular role in mathematician Anand Kumar’s biopic.  Titled ‘Super 30’, the film will be helmed by ‘Queen’ director Vikas Bahl.

A couple of days back, Hrithik also met Kumar, who later took to Facebook to share that it was a sheer pleasant experience!

“Just returned to Patna from Mumbai. But really I can’t forget my meeting yesterday with Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan. The way he invited me to his house and gave me the honour really showed that he is not just a great artist but also a great human being. Thanks Hrithik ji, thanks a lot,” he wrote. Hrithik’s last outing ‘Kaabil’ that told us a story of determination, was a smashing success, both critically and at the box-office. With Hrithik choosing scripts backed by strong content, we can easily assume ‘Super 30′ will be another success.

Vikas’ last directorial ‘Shaandaar’, however, wasn’t a successful stint. The film, although it boasted of an ensemble cast consisting of Pankaj Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and Sana Kapoor, failed to make any mark. We hope ‘Super 30’ changes the game!
