In the unfortunate outbreak of novel coronavirus, the entire nation has been locked down to stop the spreading of the COVID-19 infections. While the government of India is introducing new initiatives to help people, Bollywood celebrities were also seen contributing to their capabilities in order to support the nation and its policies to fight against coronavirus. The veteran actors of Bollywood, Rajinikanth and Hema Malini made a donation of a huge amount towards rescuing those who are most affected by the pandemic coronavirus.

The superstar, Rajinikanth has made a donation of Rs. 50 Lakhs in order to rescue those who have been hit by the coronavirus pandemic. The actor has donated the amount to the Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) Union workers who were facing financial issues due to the shutdown in the coronavirus outbreak. Although the actor didn’t reveal it on his social media handles, netizens have been appreciating Rajini for his charity work.

The ‘Dream Girl’ of Bollywood, Hema Malini who is the Mathura MP Hema Malini has also released Rs. 1 crore from her MPLADS fund for countering the coronavirus and to help those who are most hit by the lockdown in the nation.
