It has been more than a week since Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor has been hospitalised after testing positive for the novel Coronavirus. The ‘Baby Doll’ singer was hospitalized on March 20. She had returned from London on March 9 and then travelled to Kanpur and Lucknow. Kanika recently updated her fans about her health condition and thereby quashed all the rumours of being in the ICU.

Kanika took to her Instagram handle to share a picture of a quote that read, “Life teaches us to make good use of time, while time teaches us the value of life.”

The singer shared her health update in the caption and said that she misses her family. “Going off to bed. Sending you all loving vibes. Stay safe you guys ❤ Thank you for your concern but I am not in the ICU. I am fine. I hope my next test is negative. Waiting to go home to my kids and family ?❤ miss them!(sic),” she wrote.

As per an IANS report, one of her the singer’s family members who did not wish to be named, said, “We are now worried over the test reports. It seems that Kanika is not responding to treatment and in this lockdown, we cannot even airlift her for advanced treatment. We can only pray for her recovery.”

Kanika has tested positive for COVID-19 four times in a row and doctors will not discharge her until she has at least two negative tests of Coronavirus.
