Actor Daisy Shah expressed her shock and outrage after a house in Mumbai’s Bandra East reportedly caught fire, allegedly caused by crackers being burst as part of an election campaign. Shah shared her distress after witnessing the incident firsthand, which she described as happening at night while she was walking her dogs near her residence.

In a video recounting the event, Daisy detailed how the fire suddenly broke out nearby, drawing her immediate attention. She expressed feeling alarmed and helpless as she watched the flames spread rapidly, highlighting how quickly the situation escalated and the shock it left her and others nearby.

“I have nothing to do with any political party! But when you hire teams to run election campaigns, please ensure they have some common sense. Fortunately, our building committee refused their entry to go door-to-door. Bursting crackers next to buildings is not the way to do it. This is what happens when people lack civic sense. It’s not a natural calamity; it’s caused by brainless individuals (sic),” she posted.

In the comments, she added, “I sincerely hope people realize the serious danger of bursting crackers roadside. Seeing this happen right in front of my eyes was frightening (sic).”

Daisy’s Bollywood Career-Projects

Daisy Shah began her career in the film industry as an assistant choreographer to Ganesh Acharya before making her acting debut with the 2011 Kannada film Bhadra. Her breakthrough in Bollywood came in 2014 when she starred opposite Salman Khan in Jai Ho. Since then, she has been active in films and digital projects.
