Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh Reveal Daughter Dua’s Face For FIRST Time In Diwali Post; Fans Shower Love

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh made Diwali extra special for their fans. After months of keeping their daughter away from public eye and requesting fans and media to refrain from clicking and sharing her pictures, the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ couple have finally introduced their daughter, Dua, to the world. Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh Introduce Dua To The World On Diwali

Taking to their Instagram handles last night, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh shared a joint post wishing fans and online friends on the occasion of Diwali. Sharing cute family pictures – featuring baby Dua for the first time, they wrote in Devnagiri script, “Deepawali ki hardik shubhkaamnaayein.”

Taking about the picture-perfect images shared, it featured, Deepika and her little on one twinning in red ethnic outfits, while Ranveer complemented them perfectly in a cream kurta and jacket. Dua looked super adorable in her ethnic ensemble complete with two ponytails and a bright smile.

In one of the five pictures, Dua is seen playfully biting her fingers and pointing into the air as her parents lovingly watch her. The last picture in the carousel captures Deepika and Dua participating in Diwali puja, radiating with warmth and love.

In the 13 hours since being uploaded, the couple’s joint post had garnered around 6.5 million likes and over 87 thousand comments. The actor’s Bajirao Mastani co-star, Priyanka Chopra commented on the post by simply writing “God Bless” and a kissing heart emoji. Actress Preity Zinta too took to the comments section and wrote, “So cute” along with a fire and two heart emojis. Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajikummar Rao also commented on the post by writing “Such a perfect mix” and “So Cute. God Bless you guys” respectively.

Shilpa Shetty dropped in some hearts and nazar emojis while Bhumi Pednekar and Neha Dhupia showered love with red hearts. Dia Mirza also joined in the happiness by writing, “Happy Diwali Dua All our love and blessings “ Thousands of fans also took to the comments section and showered love and blessing on the trio through their words and emojis.

Baby Dua was born on September 8, 2024. In November, nearly two months post her birth, the couple announced her name to world – Dua. Deepika and Ranveer shared that the name was inspired by the their mutual love for poetry and music, symbolising gratitude and hope
