Akshay Kumar Recalls Mother Pushed Him To Buy 5 BHK Instead Of 2 BHK As His FIRST House; Says, “Puttar Vadda Soch”

Akshay Kumar shared a heartfelt memory from his early days, revealing how his mother pushed him to aim beyond a simple 2 BHK while planning his first home. Akshay Kumar is all set for the release of his upcoming film Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan. As the actor actively promotes the film, he recently shared a touching story from his early days, revealing how his mother’s advice played a defining role in shaping his ambitions.

During an appearance on Wheel of Fortune, Akshay opened up about his journey of buying his first home. Sharing a memory of his first home, Akshay said, “Pehla ghar jab maine socha tha apna lene ke liye. Toh maine socha tha ki main 2 bedroom flat lunga.”

He then recalled his mother’s guidance, adding, “Lekin meri maa ne kaha, ‘puttar vadda soch.’ Main kaha iss se aur vadda ki sochanga, 2 kamre ka flat mil jaaye iss se vadda ki.”

He further elaborated, “Unka kehna tha jo pehla flat hota hai na… jo pehla ghar hota hai, vo apne liye lena hota hai. Vo apne khud ke liye lena hota hai. Uske liye bhagwan jo hai, vo khud aap ko kisi na kisi tarah paise poore karwa ke rahenge.”

The actor highlighted the importance of immense effort in terms of investing. Akshay said, “Lekin jo dusra flat hota hai na, jo aap investment ke naam pe lete ho, uske liye aap ko bahut mehnat karni padti hai.”

Akshay Kumar’s Projects

On the professional front, Bhooth Bangla is slated to release on April 17, 2026. The film features an ensemble cast including Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Mithila Palkar, Rajpal Yadav, Jisshu Sengupta, and Asrani. Apart from this, Akshay will also be seen in another collaboration with Priyadarshan, Haiwaan, where he stars alongside Saif Ali Khan.
