dhanush, aanand l rai, tere ishk mein

It’s a hattrick for actor Dhanush and director Aanand L Rai after delivering successful ventures like Atrangi Re and Raanjhanaa. On Wednesday, Aanand took to his Instagram and dropped a video of his new directorial venture titled, Tere Ishk Mein. The small video has Dhanush who seemed to be furious was seen carrying a petrol bomb in his one hand while smoking.

Later, we got to see that he was seen charging towards someone and then the next frame showed that he threw the petrol bomb on a wall and it instantly set on fire. The Rowdy Baby actor was donning a loose chequered shirt and navy blue jeans. Dhanush was also heard saying, “Pichli baar toh Kundan tha, maan gaya. Par iss baar Shankar ko kaese rokoge. (Innocent Kundan was easily swayed but how will you stop Shankar this time?)

Going by the video, it seemed like a spin-off for Kundan’s character as we see a connection here. Dhanush once again became a passionate lover for his next Tere Ishk Mein. In fact, Raanjhanaa title track was also played in the background. It indicates that there must be some connection between Kundan from Raanjhanaa and Shankar from Tere Ishk Mein. This is the third time where Dhanush is reuniting with Aanand L Rai after the success of Raanjhanaa and Atrangi Re.

Aanand shared the video after completing 10 years of Raanjhanaa. Sharing the first glimpses of the video, the director Aanand captioned, “Kuch kahaniyan kisi purane dost jaisi mil jaati hain! Jo haath nahin milaati, seedhe aake gale lag jaati hain… 10 saal pehle ek aisi hi kahani mili thi humein… Kundan ki kahani. Dost tha mera, par jee naa saka… uska mood nahi tha jeena ka! Ab 10 saal baad phir ek kissa aaya hai; Kundan aur ye ladka ek se hi hain, bus iska mood duniya phoonk dene ka hai! Sirf aapke liye…’ Tere Ishk Mein’”
