Former beauty pageant winner and actress, Dia Mirza, often gives a sneak peek of her personal and professional lives on her social media page. On the occasion of World Meditation Day, the actress shared a throwback picture, sitting on a chair and deeply meditating. However, it’s the bruises on her face that grabbed all the attention. Dia had revealed that the picture was taken on the sets of her web series Kaafir, which premiered in 2019. However, several fans missed the little postscript.

In the picture, Dia was seen meditating beside a stream and the mountains were in the background. Sharing the picture, Dia wrote, “Meditation is a superpower I wish every person would discover. It is life-altering. Whether I’m at work or at home, Meditation is a part of my daily routine P.s- This image is #BTS (BEHIND THE SCENES) #Kaafir, not real injuries :)(sic).”

Few of her fans who missed her message expressed their concern. They took to the comments section and inquired about her bruised face. “Good but what is this on your face ?” a fan asked. “Zakhmi kaise hui? (How did you get hurt?)” asked another fan. “@diamirzaofficial face pe kya Hua ? (What happened to your face?),” a third fan asked. “What happened why brushes on your face,” asked another fan.

Dia is expecting her first child with her husband Vaibhav Rekhi. She had recently spoken about vaccinations for pregnant women. She took to Twitter and revealed that her doctor has informed her that she ‘cannot take these vaccines until required clinical trials have been done.’

The Sanju actress was also criticised for allegedly hiding the fact that she was expecting her first child until her wedding with Vaibhav. But, in a long post on Instagram, Dia mentioned that her pregnancy was not the reason they got married and added that ‘there must never be any shame attached to this beautiful journey’. On her professional front, Dia was last seen in Anubhav Sinha’s Thappad with Taapsee Pannu.
