Singer-turned-actor Diljit Dosanjh is currently in the U.S. to attend the MET Gala 2025, one of the most prestigious fashion events in the world. The event will take place on Monday, May 5, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Other big names attending this year include Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and Kiara Advani.

Ahead of the big evening, Diljit gave his fans a sneak peek through his Instagram story. He shared a video of the MET Gala invite while enjoying some delicious treats like macarons, pastries, and wine. The first page of the invite mentioned the Honourary Chair members, including basketball legend LeBron James. A note read, “REQUEST THE PLEASURE OF YOUR COMPANY AT A PREVIEW AND DINNER TO CELEBRATE THE OPENING OF.”

The Co-Chairs for this year are actor Colman Domingo, Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton, rapper A$AP Rocky, singer Pharrell Williams, and Vogue editor Anna Wintour. The host committee is filled with well-known names such as André 3000, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Simone Biles, Janelle Monáe, Usher, and many more.

Reportedly, Diljit is expected to wear an outfit designed by Prabal Gurung for the event. The theme for MET Gala 2025 is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, which focuses on Black Dandyism and fashion inspired by Black culture. Sharing a video explaining the details to his fans, he said, “Punjabi aa gaye oye”. The caption read, “MET GALA Tomorrow. Daso Fer Ki Paiye Kal Nu. Halaa Laa Laa Karauni An.”
