After John Abraham, Ekta Kapoor informs she has tested COVID positive

Ekta Kapoor has tested COVID positive. The producer took to her social media account to inform. She updated everyone about her health and said she has tested COVID positive, despite taking “all precautions“. Ekta Kapoor adds to the list of celebrities who have tested COVID positive, after actor John Abraham and his wife Priya. The producer requested everyone who came in contact with her to get themselves tested for the virus. She penned a long note and shared the update on her health on Monday, January 3.

The producer shared a note on Instagram and wrote, “Despite taking all precautions I have tested covid positive. I am fine and I request everyone who has come in contact with me to please test themselves. (sic)”

Earlier in the day, John Abraham issued a statement on his Instagram stories and informed that he and his wife Priya have tested COVID positive. The actor shared that he came in contact with someone who had contracted the virus, and learnt about it later. He shared that his wife and he are both vaccinated and are quarantined at home. John wrote, “I came in contact 3 days ago with someone who I later learned had Covid. Priya and I have tested positive for Covid. We have been quarantined at home so haven’t been in contact with anyone else. We are both vaccinated and experienced mild symptoms. Please stay well and healthy. Masks up (sic).”

Several celebrities have contracted the Coronavirus recently. Kareena Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Maheep Kapoor, Seema Khan, and Shanaya Kapoor had contracted it and recovered from the virus as well. Later, Arjun Kapoor, Karan Boolani, and Rhea Kapoor were amongst the few celebs who tested COVID positive. Actors Nora Fatehi and Mrunal Thakur have also contracted the virus.
