As the spread of deadly coronavirus is creating panic in all parts of the globe, and celebs have started spreading awareness on the safety measure. B-town celebs too have started taking parts in several challenges in order to spread awareness regarding the precautions and safety measure that needs to be taken against coronavirus. Ekta Kapoor recently took up #SafeHandsChallenge but she was slammed by the netizens.

Ekta Kapoor was nominated by Union Minister for Human Resource Development and Union Minister of Textiles, Smriti Irani for the #SafeHandsChallenge. The producer took to her Twitter handle and shared a video, where she can be seen washing her hands. What caught much of our attention was her heavy jewellery. Ekta was slammed by the netizens for not removing her rings and bracelets while doing the challenge.

Nor just Ekta, Bollywood celebrities such as Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and others have also taken part in the #SafeHandsChallenge which is an initiative of WHO. While sharing the routine of washing hands to stop the spread of coronavirus, the actors have also made a point to save water, as there are high chances of wasting water amid the scare of maintaining good hygiene.
