The second wave of Covid-19 has left this nation in a major crisis. There is a huge shortage of medication and other facilities. While there are patients and their families trying to land a hospital bed, oxygen concentrators and other medical help, there are some who have turned this time into a business of selling fake Covid medication. This has left Bhaag Milkha Bhaag actor Farhan Akhtar extremely furious.

Farhan took to his social media account and bashed those selling fake medication and called them ‘monsters’. Farhan took to his Twitter and wrote, “Seen a news report of people manufacturing & selling fake Covid medication. You have to be a special kind of monster to con people in these dark & desperate times. Shame on you, whoever you are!!!”

Before Farhan, actor R Madhavan had bashed those involved in malpractices amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.  A while back, Madhavan shared a tweet talking about a man running a racket of Remdesivir sale. Madhavan had written, “FRAUD ALERT BEWARE PEOPLE Mr. Ajay Aggarwal is selling Remdesivir for Rs. 3000/vial. He would ask you to IMPS money in advance so that he can deliver you PAN India in 3 hrs and then won’t pick up. His contact number: +91 76040 27966 Pls stay alert of such frauds.”
