Jacqueline Fernandez in A Gentleman

Jacqueline Fernandez, the gorgeous Sri Lankan beauty who has been wooing our hearts for long now, is no alien to action, when it comes to movies. The lady has done many movies of the genre and is well-versed with the same. However, till date, Jacqueline has only been a part of such movies and never performed any high-octane action sequences herself. In fact, the actress had shared once that she badly wants to perform some of that action herself. “I’ve actually been in high octane action movies where I’ve just not done in any action. And I was just like I want to do action so badly,” the actress had said.

Seems like that is going to change now as the lady is going to kick some serious ass with her action avatar in the upcoming movie ‘A Gentleman: Sundar, Susheel, Risky’, where she will be seen along with Sidharth Malhotra. (Also Read: Sidharth and Jacqueline’s kiss in ‘A Gentleman’ gets short)

The actress surely seems excited about the fact that she will be doing some stunts in the movie. In fact, she is pretty much kicked up about holding a gun for real. “In gentleman I was lucky because I actually got my hands on a gun and I was like yes!” quipped Jacqueline.

When Sidharth was asked about his co-star’s enthusiasm and newly acquired badass persona, he said, “I think Jackie is looking very hot doing action. A girl not with one gun but two guns and doing this shot at the house.”

Krishna and DK, the makers of the movie, too pitched in their opinion of Jacqueline, the new action queen. “At a certain point of time in the film when the opportunity comes she’s more than happy and jumps at the chance to get all action-y and fire guns and kick some ass,” they said. To which Sidharth added, “Which is the toughest thing guys to fire an actual live gun on set and keep your eyes wide open.”

However, due to excessive blinking, it took Jacqueline several shots to finally get the scene right. But all’s well that ends well.

‘A Gentleman’ is already in the buzz because of its foot-tapping numbers that are already ruling the charts, and the electrifying chemistry of the lead stars, Jacqueline and Sidharth. Let’s see how magical it is on the big screens when it will hit the theatres on August 25, 2017.
