Govinda BACKS Son Yashvardhan Ahuja Amid Wife Ssunita Ahuja’s Claims Of NOT Helping Him Get Work; Says, “Mujhse Zyada Accha Actor Niklega”

Actor Govinda has responded to comments made by his wife, Ssunita Ahuja, regarding his involvement in their son Yashvardhan Ahuja’s career. Ssunita claimed that Govinda did not support Yashvardhan as he attempted to enter the film industry, prompting a public clarification from the actor. Their differing perspectives have brought their family dynamics into focus as Yashvardhan prepares for his debut in cinema.

Govinda Clears The Air On Ssunita Ahuja’s Claims Of NOT Helping Son Yashvardhan

In an interview with ANI, Govinda stated that he had reached out to filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala to assist his son. He explained, “Kya ho gaya hai, jis wakt main politics se bahar nikla, toh maine yeh socha ki kahin mere spardha, ya dwesh, irsha, yeh sabhi ki karaktaayein, kisi prakar se takleef naa de. Khaas taur pe bachhon ke liye. Toh main bahar aa gaya. Ab woh main ghar pariwar ke liye hi bahar aa gaya. Maine Nadiadwala se kaha, toh he gave his cabin to Yash, ki kaise filmein banayi jaati hain, kaam kiya jata hai. Aur, mujhse zyada poocha nahi gaya, aur aise ek mahaul ghar mein tayyiar tha, ki jismein ki main filmy rishte mein nakamyab hun.”

Talking about Yashvardhan Ahuja, Govinda shared, “Main Yash ke liye keh raha hun, woh mujhse zyada achha actor niklega. Woh technically mujhse better hai. Toh main umeed karta hun, uska prastutikaran kisi ne sahi kar diya, toh he’s huge.”

What Did Ssunita Say?

Meanwhile, Ssunita Ahuja, speaking with Miss Malini, described Yashvardhan as an independent individual. She said, “Yash is a self-made boy. He hasn’t taken help from his father. He has given 90 auditions; being Govinda’s son, he didn’t ask Govinda to call anyone. Govinda also never helped Yash. I told Govinda directly, ‘tu baap hai ki kya hai if you won’t help our kids, who will?’ Look at Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff—how they all support their sons.”

Ssunita further criticised Govinda’s approach, questioning his support for Yashvardhan. She said, “I told Govinda he needs to support his son, but I don’t understand his thinking. The company he keeps is so questionable; I don’t know what they’re teaching him. His own career is in shambles.”

Reports indicate that director Sajid Khan is planning to launch Yashvardhan Ahuja as the lead in his upcoming film. It is also expected to feature Nitanshi Goel, known for her role in Laapataa Ladies.
