The current political conditions in the entire country have caught momentum. With the netizens, several B-town biggies took to their social media handles and expressed their views on the newly introduced Citizenship Amendment Act. Drawing the light on the same, the legendary writer, lyricist, and the filmmaker, Gulzar takes a slight jibe at PM Narendra Modi’s governances as he addressed the audiences recently.

While addressing the audience recently at an award show organized by Amar Ujala,  Gulzar said, “Doston, I was going to address you as ‘Mitron’, but I stopped. I was afraid when my friend Yashwant(a senior journalist) arrived to meet me from Delhi. These days you don’t know what laws Delhi-wallahs can bring.”

Generally, PM Narendra Modi addresses the audience as Mitron meaning ‘friends’. Whenever he starts to address the audience he says this term. Gulzar’s introduction at the award ceremony surely gives a slit hint on what he was talking about.

Bollywood celebs such as Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and few others have also expressed their opinion on the violence that has been happening in the country for the last few weeks.
