A couple of months back, Alia Bhatt had injured her shoulder on the sets of Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ in Bulgaria. The ‘Raazi’ star has suffered yet another injury on the sets of her period drama ‘Kalank’. The actress, who has been juggling between two projects has injured her foot now.

The 25 year old was shooting for a sequence which involved stairs. While filming it, she tripped off the stairs and ended up injuring her foot in the process. She was immediately given medical treatment and her foot was bandaged but instead of resting the actress resumed work.

The makers of ‘Kalank’ are running on a tight schedule and as Sanjay Dutt has joined the team for the shoot, the actress did not want to delay the project due to her injury.(Also Read: Watch: Varun Dhawan and Aditya Kapur indulge in some masti as rains halt shoot of ‘Kalank’)

A source informed Mumbai Mirror, “She is also juggling the shoot of ‘Brahmastra‘ with Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan so she can’t take a break. She has been resting in between shots so the injury is not aggravated.”

Her two films are as different from each other as chalk and cheese. ‘Brahmastra’ co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan is all about a fantasy adventure drama. On the other hand, ‘Kalank’ that also stars Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur is a period drama.

‘Brahmastra’ is a trilogy and the first part of this one is slated to release in the year 2019. Whereas ‘Kalank’ is set to hit the theaters in April 2019. Apart from this, the actress will also be seen with Ranveer Singh in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’. The film will hit theaters in Feb 2019. After ‘Kalank’, she will soon begin shooting for Ashwini Iyer Tiwari’s next.
