If anyone who has been worst hit by the outbreak of novel Coronavirus then it has to be the daily wage earners and migrant labourers. These section of our society can’t afford to stay at home. Their life is depended on their daily earnings so imagine the kind of blow these people received due to the lockdown.

Many of them even started an on-foot journey to their respective hometowns as staying back without any work is of no use to them. Irrfan Khan, showing his solidarity towards the migrant labourers, will be observing a 12 hour fast on April 10 i.e tomorrow.

The ‘Angrezi Medium‘ actor took to the micro-blogging site and shared a post which read, “To repent for what we have done to the migrant labourers. I support the Friday Fast. 10 April, 6 am-6 pm.”

Alongside the post, Irrfan wrote, “I support this because I believe we need to change from the roots.”

On the work front, the power-house performer returned to the silver screens with ‘Angrezi Medium’. The film released on March 13, but owing to the outbreak of Coronavirus it was recently released on a digital platform as well.
