The outbreak of the Coronavirus has everyone stuck at home in lockdown. Due to the lockdown people have been asked to stay wherever they are and not venture out. Some people are aways from their family and have not met them for months and weeks. Jacqueline Fernandez is stuck in a similar situation as she has not met her father Elroy and mother Kim due to the lockdown and she is worried about their health.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Jacqueline said, “I wanted my parents to really be with me right now; I’m concerned about their health and how they are doing. The funny thing is that they’re concerned about me and are like ‘you’re all alone there’. But I’m worried about my parents being on their own.”

Originally from Sri Lanka, Jacqueline feels those who have their parents by their side in such tough times are rather lucky. She said, “Right now they do need all the love, care and attention. They are vulnerable at this point, we need to be there for them.”

Talking about herself Jacqueline said that she was quite disoriented when the lockdown happened,“It just took me a sometime to realize what was happening and the first week was difficult. I felt a bit lost thinking about what I would do. However, I realised that I may not able to go on a film set but I have my audiences and a platform and I decided to be as creative as possible.”

The actress is making the most of her time at home and is doing things she otherwise didn’t get a chance to do. She is brushing up on her Hindi and Urdu. She is doing some reading and catching up on World Cinema besides keeping fit and eating right.
