Video: Javed Akhtar loses his cool at paparazzi for making noise, tells them, ‘shor mat karo’

Javed Akhtar needs no introduction. The lyricist was spotted in the city on Thursday night on the occasion of his birthday. He was joined by his wife Shabana Azmi. In a video shared by paparazzi on Instagram, Javed Akhtar was seen heading to his birthday bash at Anil Kapoor’s house along with wife Shabana Azmi. He was irked by the noise paps were making around him.

In the video, Javed was seen telling the paparazzi, “Shot mat karo,” before he posed for them with Shabana. On the other hand, he was dressed in a kurta-pyjama. Shabana ji opted for a Kaftan dress.

Earlier this month, Javed Akhtar made headlines after called the success of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal ‘dangerous’. At the 9^th Ajanta-Ellora International Film Festival in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, he had said, “If there’s a fi in which a man asks a woman to lick his shoe or if a man says it’s okay to slap a woman… and the film is super hit, that’s dangerous.” Later, the team of Animal had reacted to Javed Akhtar’s comments.

Talking about Shabana Azmi, she was last seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. It also starred Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, and Jaya Bachchan. The veteran actress will be next seen in Bun-Tikki along with Zeenat Aman, and Abhay Deol.
