Is Kamal Haasan charging Rs 150 crore to play villain in Prabhas starrer Project K? Here’s what we know

Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer Project K is one of the most anticipated films of 2023. It was recently reported that the makers are in talks with Kamal Haasan for a role in Project K. It was also said that producer Ashwini Dutt had approached Kamal Haasan with a whopping offer of Rs 150 crore to play antagonist in Project K. Now, according to the reports, Kamal Haasan has been offered the role but there’s no truth in the reports regarding his fees.

Hindustan Times quoted a source saying, “Talks have been initiated with Kamal sir. He hasn’t even confirmed anything yet. It’ll take another week or two for us to get more clarity on whether he’s accepted the offer or not.”

Project K stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani. While shooting an action scene in Hyderabad in March, Amitabh Bachchan suffered an injury. He took a break and then resumed the shoot. Big B had revealed about his injury in his blog post. The veteran actor had revealed, “And it needs to be told, not be held. In Hyderabad at the shoot for Project K, during an action shot, I have got injured, rid cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib case, cancelled the shoot, did Doctor consult and scan by CT at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home.”

In February this year, the makers shared a new poster and unveiled the release date. Deepika Padukone too shared the poster on her Instagram and wrote in the caption, “12.1.2024 #ProjectK Happy Mahashivratri!” Fans are beyond excited for it.
