British-Indian actor Indira Varma has revealed that she is tested positive for coronavirus. Her diagnosis comes two days after her co-star of ‘Game of Thrones’ actor Kristofer Hivju also confirmed that he tested positive. The actress who played Ellaria Sand in ‘Game Of Thrones’ took to her Instagram handle to confirm the news of getting the infection. Indira had earlier appeared in Mira Nair’s ‘Kamasutra’ and Gurinder Chaddha’s ‘Bride and Prejudice’.

Indira Varma was in Anton Chekhov’s play ‘The Seagull’. Also, Emilia Clarke was also a part of the project. The show has been cancelled now. She shared a selfie with her fellow stars and wrote, “So sad our and so many other shows around the world have gone dark affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. We hope to be back soon and urge you all (and the govt) to support us when we do. Phoenix/ Seagull rising from the ashes. I’m in bed with it and it’s not nice. Stay safe and healthy and be kind to your fellow people.”
