Fiery actress Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for the release of the biographical period drama ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’. For this magnum opus, Kangana will be sharing the credit of ‘co-director’, yes Kangana has directed the first film of her career so this film is extremely special for her.

Ever since ‘Manikarnika‘ was announced, it has been in news(most of the times) for all wrong reasons. Out of all the things, the film’s release date was first clashing with Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Super 30’. Later when ‘Manikarnika’s trailer was unveiled people couldn’t help but notice how Kangana’s dialogue, was similar to Hrithik Roshan’s dialogue from his film ‘Mohenjo Daro’. The dialogue that Kangana is heard saying in the trailer is – “Jhansi aap bhi chahte hai aur main bhi, fark sirf itna hai, aapko raaj karna hai, aur mujhe apno ki seva,”

Soon after netizens started pointing out the similarity between these dialogues. Recently when Kangana was asked about the same, she told Mumbai Mirror, “Who has seen that film? (‘Mohenjo Daro’)Let’s not even go there.”

For the uninitiated,  ‘Mohenjo Daro’ that released in 2016, starred Hrithik Roshan in the lead and was directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The film despite having a stellar cast tanked at the box office. Perhaps that’s the reason why Kangana responded in that way.

Anyways we wonder what Hrithik has to say about this statement of Kangana now.

‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ is all set to hit the silver screens on January 25, 2019.
