Karan Johar in defense of Rhea Pillai on Twitter against Paes’ allegations

One more couple going through a legal tangle is of Rhea Pillai and Leander Paes. Indian tennis star, Leander Paes has approached the Mumbai Police with a criminal complaint against his former live-in partner Rhea Pillai and also filed a guardianship petition in the Bandra family court seeking custody of his daughter.

One person  from Bollywood who  has come up in defense of Rhea is  filmmaker Karan Johar .  Johar took to Twitter to defend Pillai and said that she is a caring person and also slammed the media for not being sensitive.

Rhea is the most loving,loyal and wonderful friend,mother and partner…have known her for over 2 decades..recent reportage is unwarranted..

 Paes and Pillai were in a live-in relationship and had a daughter in 2006.  Paes’ guardianship petition slams Rhea for being an irresponsible mother, not caring enough for their child and for being self-indulgent while contrasting Paes as a loving, caring father.  The petition also says Rhea also lied about her divorce to Sanjay Dutt to Leander and that it only came through in February 2008, when he had been led to believe in 2006 that Rhea was already divorced.

Well we do  hope the two  of them solve it amicably for the child’s sake.
