A source close to the development updated Pinkvilla with an exciting update on the Veere Di Wedding part two. The source stated, “Veere Di Wedding is a very special project for the makers, and they have already set the ball rolling for the sequel. So Veere Di Wedding 2 is definitely being made, and the idea and concept has already been locked. However, the script is still being written, and the final draft should be ready in a few months.”
Sharing an update on the casting and the shooting dates, the source said, “Once that is done, they will start looking at the casting and other logistics. The movie will roll next year.”
Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, Veere Di Wedding was released in 2018 with a stellar cast of Kareena, Sonam, Swara and Shikha in the lead. The movie was produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ektaa Kapoor. Now, the dynamic duo of talented producers have reunited to make another film The Crew. The movie stars Kareena, Tabu and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. Furthermore, reports indicate that producers Rhea and Ektaa have initiated discussions for Veere Di Wedding part two.
Though the cast has not yet been decided. We would love to see the original cast reprise their original roles. We are eagerly awaiting further details of the movie.
