Video: Katrina Kaif helps BFF Ali Abbas Zafar cut his birthday cake; SRK, Vicky Kaushal attend the bash

‘Bharat’ director Ali Abbas Zafar celebrated his birthday in the company of his close friends and dear colleagues. The filmmaker hosted a birthday bash last night which was attended by his BFF Katrina Kaif, Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal and several others.

The ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ filmmaker was seen wearing black and white trouser and shirt paired with a half-jacket. He looked dapper as always. It was Katrina who grabbed the eyeballs with her stunning bodycon dress. But what caught everyone’s attention was how Kat helped Ali cut his birthday cake. It was an endearing sight.

Kat’s fan clubs have shared videos from the birthday bash where a shy Ali is seen happily cutting several birthday cakes with her help. The crowd gathered can be heard cheering for them and wishing the birthday boy. Katrina’s sister Isabelle Kaif can be seen capturing the entire scene on her phone.

Katrina and Ali’s friendship dates back to the director’s debut film ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’. Ever since then they have remained close and even worked twice in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and ‘Bharat’.

Shah Rukh Khan also turned up to wish the birthday boy. Interestingly there were rumours of SRK and Ali collaborating for a film, however, there has been no confirmation about the same.

Also present at Ali’s birthday bash were Kat’s rumoured boyfriend Vicky Kaushal, Ananya Panday, Kriti Sanon, Muddasar Aziz and Huma Qureshi.

On the work front, Ali is now gearing up for his next production ‘Khaali Peeli’ which stars Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday.
