Katrina Kaif starrer action film Super Soldier SHELVED? Ali Abbas Zafar reveals

Katrina Kaif is one of the most loved actors in the industry. She has been in Bollywood for almost two decades now, featuring in some of the most loved movies. Katrina is the one actress who has pulled off action roles like any other action hero in Bollywood. Earlier, it was reported that Katrina will star in an Ali Abbas Zafar action film titled Super Soldier but the film got delayed. Now in a recent interview, Ali reveals his plans to put the film on floors.

Ali Abbas Zafar explains Super Soldier’s delay

Talking to News 18, Ali Abbas Zafar he revealed that the movie will definitely be happening. Putting forwards the reason he mentioned that the movie was supposed to start rolling earlier but Katrina Kaif was busy with Tiger 3. The pandemic also happened during that time adding on to another reason. Assuring that the film will be happening, Ali said, “That film is very much happening but I’m waiting for the right time to make the film. Right now, I’m also engaged with a few other films. When we find the right time and space and both of us are free, it will definitely go on floors.”

For the unversed, Ali Abbas Zafar made his directorial debut with Katrina Kaif in the 2011 film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. The two went on to work together in Tiger Zinda Hai and Bharat.

The actress will next be seen in the movie YRF spy universe franchise film Tiger 3 alongside Salman Khan. Katrina also has Merry Christmas alongside Vijay Sethupathi. In addition to the lineup of movies, she also has Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
