The song was released amidst the lockdown and has been received well by the masses. Now some artistes prefer working in seclusion while others thrive in chaos, so when asked whether his working style was affected by lockdown, the lyricist shared, “Everyone has their own style of working. Some people prefer peace. I don’t need any such specific environment. All I need is a good composer whose vibe is positive. During the lockdown, all I can say is that there was a lack of work opportunities. We all (composers and lyricists) couldn’t sit down and jam together so yeah that was missing. So apart from that, my working style wasn’t affected that much.

During the lockdown, mental health became a very serious issue. Several people suffered from depression and anxiety, sharing his views on the same, Kumaar said, “Every person’s position is different. It depends on how financially stable a person is. Someone who is stable will think differently. Likewise, a person living in a rented flat, or who is a daily wager, his point of view will vary. So it all depends on your position and condition.

But then we have Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. Apparently he was financially stable and it is being speculated that he committed suicide because of depression, to which Kumaar reverts, “As I said before, every individual’s position is different. Hence every case is different. Whatever happened shouldn’t have happened. And we don’t even know what exactly happened. All I hope is that justice is served and the truth comes out. Talking about depression, everyone says aisa nahi karna chahiye waisa nahi karna chahiye but only a person who is actually suffering through it knows exactly what is going on in his mind.
