The #MeToo movement is gaining momentum in the country with each passing day. A number of Bollywood celebrities have been accused of sexual misconduct and shamed for their action.  Recently, KWAN’s (a talent management company) founder Anirban Das Blah was also accused of the same by not one but four women.

Reacting on the allegations of sexual harassment against him, the founder of KWAN Entertainment stepped down from his position

The talent management company has issued a statement saying Anirban Das Blah has resigned from all his responsibilities and designations at KWAN. The statement also reads that the 10 partners have taken over the entire stake of Anirban in KWAN to ensure his exit. The decision comes a day after the company asked Anirban Blah to step aside from his duties.

In a statement released earlier, KWAN stated, “We fully support the #MeToo movement and deprecate and condemn those who have exploited women in any form or manner. As a responsible corporate, we have taken assistance to ensure that we have efficient and appropriate processes to redress any complaint of misconduct in accordance with the law.”

KWAN has promised to create a “safe and secure” working environment for its employees. In addition, Anirban has also resigned as one of the trustee members of The Live Love Laugh Foundation.
