From a little boy belonging to a barely middle class family in Bihar to a ticket checker in a small town in West Bengal and then a celebrated Indian cricketer, MS Dhoni’s journey is moving enough. Neeraj Pandey’s ‘M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ is one of this year’s most touted release. As we write this after half the film is over, a theatre almost full has relived a sportsman’s birth since last one and half a hour.

The film kickstarts with a boy in his early school days, obsessed with football. The sports teacher in his school discovers his potential in cricket. Dhoni’s father, a pump man at a Bihar stadium however wants his son to study and secure a future. How he travels all the way to Indian Cricket team is what one looks out for.

The film so far is well made and packed with strong performance from Sushant Singh Rajput and supporting cast. We are loving how the film takes you down the memory lane and walks you through the days of Tendulkar-Ganguly-Yuvraj Singh.
