Mika Singh released from jail in UAE over sexual harassment allegations

Singer Mika Singh is controversy’s favourite child, isn’t he? The singer always finds a way to create wrong headlines and invites trouble from somewhere. Now, according to reports, Mika Singh has been released from the prison in Abu Dhabi and is out of the police custody.

Mika was arrested in UAE over sexual harassment allegations. The singer was accused of sending inappropriate photos to a 17-year-old Brazilian model.

According to a report in PinkVilla, Daler Mehndi and his spokesperson confirmed that Mika is now out of jail and the hearing was on Monday. Navdeep Singh Suri, the Indian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates told news agency ANI on Saturday, “Following efforts by the embassy, singer Mika was released at 11:30 pm last night. He will be produced before a court today.”

Just a while ago, Mika Singh released a video on his Instagram account and was enjoying himself in the video. The singer-musician has been embroiled in quite a few controversies.

Daler Mehndi told PinkVilla that the girl who accused Mika of sexual harassment was working with the singer for the last 3-4 years in his group. Mehndi had also added that her mother also accompanied her on tours. Mika Singh has to get his act together and if he is released from the prison, then he has learned a very valuable lesson.
