At the same time, several fan pages and social media users continued discussing Vijay’s growing political influence in Tamil Nadu. Supporters praised the actor-politician for building strong public momentum through his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), which he officially launched in 2024.

Vijay himself won from both Perambur and Tiruchirappalli East constituencies. However, TVK remained 10 seats short of the majority mark of 118.
