Aamir Khan, who has been gearing for his upcoming projects, launched the sports initiative – ‘Mission Shakti’ by Maharashtra minister Sudhir Mungantiwar. ‘Mission Shakti’ aims to train sports personalities and athletes from Chandrapur and Gadchiroli for several international events such as the Olympics.

On Sunday (4th July), Aamir has marked his attendance at the launch event of ‘Mission Shakti’. While talking about the sports initiative, Aamir told at the gathering, “I don’t remember much that I learned in school except sports. It teaches us how to complete tasks through teamwork. It trains us to handle the situation during ups and downs.”

The ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ actor also broke into a song mid-speech to motivate the athletes who were attending the program. Not just that, he was also seen felicitating the tribal mountaineers who had recently scaled Mount Everest as part of ‘Mission Shaurya’.

On the professional front, Aamir Khan is currently gearing up to shoot his upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. For which, the actor is reportedly going to reduce his weight by about 20 kgs. The actor will be seen wearing a turban for some segments of the film. While nothing has been made official about the plot of the film, it is expected to go on floors in October this year.
