Mithun Chakraborty Hospitalised; Veteran Actor Undergoes Surgery In Kolkata- Deets Inside

Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty is currently admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata where he underwent a minor surgery. News about the ‘The Bengal Files’ actor’s operation and health there after was shared with fans via the West Bengal Chief Minister, Suvendu Adhikari’s social media post.

Mithun Chakraborty Undergoes Surgery In Kolkata

On Friday morning, WB CM Suvendu Adhikari visited veteran actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty at a private hospital in Kolkata. As per reports, the actor underwent a procedure on Thursday to remove a metal plate that had been implanted following an incident. The procedure was successful and the actor is in a stable condition.

Sharing pictures with Mithun Da from his hospital room, the CM, wrote in Bengali, “Distinguished film actor and BJP central committee member Mithun Chakraborty has been admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata due to health issues. I visited the hospital today to see him. I spoke with him and enquired about his health condition.” He concluded his post by writing,” I pray to the Almighty God for his speedy recovery.”

As per reports, the veteran actor and politician is said to be doing well and is expected to be discharged soon.

Suvendu Adhikari On Mithun Chakraborty’ Surgery

Posting meeting the veteran actor, the West Bengal CM spoke to the media after his hospital visit. During the interaction, he revealed that Mithun Da underwent a minor surgical procedure on Thursday night and chose not to publicise it. IANS quoted Adhikari saying, “He did not want publicity over the development. He is doing well. Will be released soon.”
