Mouni Roy On Calling The Paps: I’m Not Saying I Never Call Them…

During a recent interaction with Hindustan Times, Mouni Roy opened up about always being in the spot light and paps surrounded her almost every time she steps out. When asked whether like her Salakaar co-star Naveen Kasturia she too feels to be in the public eye 24×7, she replied, “Don’t even ask what that’s like.”

While admitting their is pressure when staying in the spotlight, the actress also opened up about what irks when it comes to the public’s perception of the content delivered by the paps. Talking about whether or not stars are always calling the paps to click them where ever they go, Mouni said, “That’s not the case.”

When asked to set the record straight, Mouni replied, “They are there, especially because if we are here in Bandra, they know your cars and where you’re going. Sometimes, the restaurants or places you go to want to promote themselves. I am not saying I never call paps. But I call them when I need to be or want to be spotted, and I am dressed well. If I am promoting a film or a show, it’s a very different thing. But every day, no!”

The actor adds, matter-of-factly, “It’s really taxing, because you can’t look nice all the time, and can’t be at your best every time.”
