Nargis Fakhri to dance with Akshay Kumar in her next ‘Azhar?’

Nargis Fakhri the promising lead actress of ‘Rockstar,’ was last seen in David Dhawan’s ‘Main Tera Hero’ opposite Varun Dhawan. The actress who has been missing from the Bollywood is now making a comeback with the upcoming biopic on cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin titled ‘Azhar.’ The actress would be essaying the role of Sangeeta Bijlani, a former actress in Bollywood and second wife of the cricketer.

Nargis will be seen playing a Bollywood actress from the 90’s. Therefore, the makers of this movie are including a special song with the theme of 90’s music featuring the ‘Khiladi’ of Bollywood Akshay Kumar.

The news is coming in that the makers have approached Akshay to be a part of this special dance song featuring him and Nargis. Reportedly, the actor who is currently busy shooting for his next film titled ‘2.0,’ the sequel of science fiction ‘Robot’ has given a positive nod for being a part in this song.

It would be one of the rare instances that Akshay Kumar would give a special appearance in a movie. Perhaps, it would be his association with Ekta Kapoor (producer of ‘Azhar’) with whom he have worked in the past in ‘Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara!.’

This would be the first time that Akshay Kumar would be paired with Nargis Fakhri after she lost out to work with the star not once but twice earlier in ‘Khiladi 786’ and ‘The Shaukeens.’

Emraan Hashmi would be playing the titular role of cricketer Azharuddin in ‘Azhar.’ The film also stars Prachi Desai, Huma Qureshi and Gautam Gulati in key roles and is slated to release on May 13, 2016.
