According to a report published in DNA, The Federation of Western India Cine Employees banned Navjot Singh Sidhu from entering the Filmcity. They also banned Pakistani artistes from working in India.

Talking of the cowardly attack, over 40 CRPF jawans were martyred and 30 others were injured after a car loaded with over 200 kg of explosives rammed into a CRPF bus. The unfortunate incident happened on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

And, reacting to this, Sidhu had said, “For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual? It (the attack) is a cowardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished.”

After Sidhu’s statement, #BoycottTheKapilSharmaShow started trending and fans asked Salman Khan to either take action or shut down the show. Taking a cognizance into this, Salman Khan reportedly called up Sidhu and asked for his resignation from ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Kapil also reiterated the same thoughts as Navjot and soon enough, he too was trolled and people on social media started demanding to boycott his show altogether.
