Neeraj Chopra has created history by winning gold in Men’s Javelin Throw at Tokyo 2020. He brings home the first gold medal for India and the entire country is currently rejoicing his big win. He becomes the second athlete after Abhinav Bindra to win an individual Olympic gold. Congratulatory messages are pouring in for 23-year-old Chopra for bringing the first Gold Medal in Athletics in Olympics for India.

Kareena Kapoor congratulated Neeraj as she shared a picture of him on her Instagram Stories.

Varun was glued to his television set during Neeraj’s match and as soon as he won, the actor was seen celebrating it.

Neeraj Chopra hails from Panipat in Haryana. He stunned everyone with his second throw of 87.58m in the finals.
