No, Ayan Mukerji super-hero film is not shelved

Ayan Mukerji was planning a film based on superheroes since long and was even eager to cast Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in leads.

We have been waiting for the film for quite some time now. In the meantime, there were rumours that the project has been shelved as not enough fund from Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions was allotted. But Alia Bhatt has recently spoken about it and she has something else to say.

“That’s not true. It’s very much on. We will start shooting soon. As of now it’s too early to talk about it,” she said. That means, we can expect the film to go on the floors anytime soon!

On the professional front, Alia has finished shooting for Gauri Shinde’s next with Shah Rukh Khan while Ranbir is working on Anurag Basu’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’ and Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
