OMG: A 20 Kg Armour For Deepika Padukone in ‘Bajirao Mastani’

Bollywood’s ruling diva Deepika Padukone after wearing a 30 kg lehenga for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela. She will be doing action while sporting a 20 kg armour in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next Bajirao Mastani.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ is a Historical romance. Bhansali’s film a re known for it’s larger than life sets and colorful costumes. It will be shot at the Royal Palace in Rajasthan. Bajirao Mastani has Deepika playing teh roleof Mastani to Ranveer Singh’s Peshwa Bajirao.

Sources say, Deepika will not only be wearing the heavy costume for the shoot, but she also has to perform physically tough scenes in it. For the action sequence Deepika has been receiving training in sword fighting. She is also trying her stunts being in that costume as it has to look almost effortless for the character that she is playing.
