Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ has been pushed to another date, thanks to the protest going on against the film. Karni Sena has been on its toes revolting against the film and are violently keeping up with their stance. Amidst all the hullabaloo, one wonders how the A-list stars as well as top Government officials are observing a silence over this issue. The protesters have openly threatened Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali and have announced bounty for those who behead these two. In such a case, one surely has questions the law and order of the country. Well, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha holds similar thoughts.

He took to Twitter to question the silence of Big stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan as well as the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Asserting that it is high time that we speak up, Shatrughan Singa tweeted, “As Padmavati becomes a burning controversy, people are asking why the legendary @SrBachchan, most versatile @aamir_khan & most popular @iamsrk have no comments..& how come our I&B Minister or our most popular Hon’ble PM (according to PEW) are maintaining stoic silence. High time!.”

Further he shared his thoughts on the controversy and stated that he will speak up on the issue once SLB speaks up. (Also Read: Dear Sanjay Leela Bhansali, no more clarifications PLEASE!)
