Parul Gulati Alleges Rs 8 Lakh Fraud At Brand Store
In a video posted on Instagram, she explained that her suspicions arose when she noticed discrepancies during an unannounced visit. The store manager admitted to misappropriating funds shortly after joining the company, while the sales executive, who had access to CCTV cameras, called in sick on the day of her inspection and remains absconding.
Parul alleged that the employees sold products worth Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 daily, instructing customers to transfer payments directly into their personal accounts, using her brand’s name. The fraud allegedly continued for nearly six months, leading to inventory shortages and financial discrepancies. She shared that she currently has evidence covering only six months of the scam and doubts she will recover the stolen money, which is estimated at over Rs 8 lakh.
She also issued a caution to customers who may have transferred money directly to the accused employees, advising them to verify transactions and always insist on official bills before completing purchases. Parul emphasised that the employees deserve to be barred from working elsewhere.
