Amid her many milestones, Patralekhaa faced some harsh trolls on her post-partum weight gain. Recently, she embraced her motherhood journey with her first child, Parvati, while also celebrating her first film as a producer.
Balancing her personal and professional life, Patralekhaa made her first public appearance after giving birth. Dressed in relaxed printed co-ords, she radiated her maternity glow at a screening of Toaster in Mumbai. Her photos and videos quickly went viral, with fans praising her glow. However, some sections of the internet left unpleasant comments on paparazzi pages.
Patralekhaa Hits Back At Trolls On Weight Gain Post-Partum Comments
During her appearance at the Toaster screening, Patralekhaa was targeted with comments about her post-pregnancy weight gain. Responding firmly to the negativity, she addressed the trolls and shared the realities of her postpartum body.
Reacting to questions like, “What happened to her?” she wrote, “Pap pages! What’s happened to me!? is that I have just given birth!” Giving a sharp answer, she added that she has not “sat and eaten a mountain”.
She added,“Yes, I have gained the weight, which seems like an unnatural phenomenon to you all. I have not sat and eaten a mountain, I just delivered a baby and produced two films simultaneously which are not easy jobs.”
Patralekhaa-Rajkummar Rao Welcome Baby Girl
Patralekhaa and Rajkummar Rao celebrated the arrival of their daughter Parvati on their wedding anniversary, November 15, 2025. The couple tied the knot in a grand ceremony in Chandigarh. Before Parvati’s birth, Patralekhaa told Hindustan Times that Rajkummar had been incredibly caring during her pregnancy. She recounted how he took special care of her during their vacation.
About Toaster
Patralekhaa and Rajkummar launched their production house, Kampa Films, on January 31, 2025. Their first project, Toaster, follows the story of Ramakant (Rajkummar Rao), a miser, and his wife Shilpa (Sanya Malhotra). The couple is invited to a wedding, where they plan to present the bride. Ramakant considers gifting perfume, but Shilpa insists on an expensive gift. They settle on a toaster. Things take a dramatic turn when the wedding is called off within a day, and Ramakant becomes obsessed with retrieving his gift, going to extreme lengths to do so.
Toaster is currently streaming on Netflix.
