PIA Plane Crash: Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Raveena Tandon condole the terrible loss of life

The despair brought by the year 2020 doesn’t seem to end anytime soon. After the Coronavirus outbreak, migrants’ turmoil, cyclone Amphan we came across yet another shocking news of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), which was carrying around 9o passengers and eight crew members, crashing at Karachi airport yesterday.

Several Bollywood celebs took to social media to express their shock over the tragic incidence and offer condolences to the victims’ family.

Reportedly, flight PK 8303 from Lahore was about to land in Karachi when it crashed at the Jinnah Garden area near Model Colony. So far death of at least 97 people has been confirmed. While two passenger managed to survive miraculously.

Sending his prayers to the deceased’s families, Anil Kapoor wrote, “Deeply saddened to hear about the #planecrash in #Karachi. My heartfelt condolences to all the families who have lost loved ones and sending my prayers for the speedy rescue & recovery of the ones who are injured.”

Whereas Raveen Tandon tweeted, “Shocking tragic news coming out of Pakistan. #PIAplanecrash Prayers for the departed and condolences to the bereaved families. Already the world dealing with the covid 19 crisis and tragedy, then we have Amphan and the crash.”

The crash came just a week after Pakistan resumed flights after the lockdown which was observed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
