About Maa Behen

Maa Behen follows the story of three women who discover a dead body inside their home. Using this domestic noir setup, the film touches upon themes of everyday patriarchy and misogyny. The film carries forward the tone of Triveni’s earlier projects, ‘Tumhari Sulu’ and Jalsa, both of which explored the messy, uncomfortable and often funny sides of human relationships.

The movie features Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Dharna Durga, Ravi Kishan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Arunoday Singh, and Javed Khan. Jatin Sarna and Paresh Rawal have made short appearances in the movie. It is currently streaming on Netflix. It premiered on the platform on June 4, 2026.
