Mannara Chopra’s father Raman Rai Handa passed away on June 16 in Mumbai. Now, actress Priyanka Chopra has paid condolences to her uncle and written a heartwarming note. Priyanka Chopra took to Instagram and shared a note about the loss of her fufaji and Mannara Chopra’s father Raman Rai Handa.

Priyanka Chopra Pays Last Respects To Uncle

Sharing it on her Instagram story, she wrote, “You will always be in our hearts. Rest easy, Raman uncle (fufaji).” A day prior Mannara Chopra shared the news on her Instagram, posting an official story. She wrote, “Adv. Raman Rai Handa. 25/09/1953 – 16/06/2025. With profound grief and sorrow, we inform the sad demise of our loving father, who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/June/2025. He was the pillar of strength for our family.”

The last rites will take place on June 18 at 1 PM at the Crematorium Ground in Amboli, Andheri West, Mumbai.

She also shared an Instagram story which reads, “With profound grief and sorrow, we inform the sad demise of our loving father, who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/06/2025. He was the pillar of strength for our family.”

About Raman Rai Handa

Raman Rai Handa, 72, was a respected lawyer who practiced at the Delhi High Court. He was married to Kamini Chopra, the paternal aunt of Bollywood actresses Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra. He is survived by his wife Kamini and their two daughters, Mannara and Mitali.

Though the exact reason for his passing has not been revealed, his sudden demise has come as a huge shock to everyone close to the family. Friends, family, and fans are sending love and prayers to the grieving family, hoping they find the strength to cope with this difficult loss.
