Rahul Roy, who suffered a brain stroke recently is currently admitted at the Nanavati hospital in Mumbai. As per a report in ETimes, this morning, the actor walked from his room to the hospital’s central garden and he also did his physio exercises. He even spoke to his family friend-producer Ashwani Kumar in Delhi over the phone.

Ashwani Kumar told ETimes, “Rahul has started eating also: he’s on a light diet to begin with. There is a small clot that is still there, it will be dissolved with thinners. Of course, the entire process will take time but so far so good.”

Rubbishing the reports of the actor requires a stent to prevent strokes in the future, Ashwani said, “There are too many reports floating since yesterday that stenting (a surgical procedure) will be required but that is incorrect. Stenting is not required as of now. I am also in touch with a top neurosurgeon in Kolkata and even he has said Rahul is showing ominous signs of recovery.”

Rahul’s brother-in-law Romneer Sen said, “I am happy with Rahul’s progress. He should be back amidst his fans soon.”

The ‘Aashiqui’ actor had a brain stroke while he was shooting for his upcoming project ‘LAC – Live the Battle’ in Kargil. We wish he recovers soon.
