In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Nitin informed that Rahul had finished his work on November 23 but he had decided to stay back for a few more days as he was enjoying the weather. Rahul was supposed to leave for Kolkata on Saturday. On Thursday when he went to meet Rahul in his room, while the actor was doing everything properly he could not make cohesive sentences. Nitin said that since he is a doctor himself he suspected it to be aphasia and he immediately took him to the local hospital to get a CT scan. When Nitin referred about the reports to one of his friends he found out that they might suggest Rahul is suffering through a mini-stroke that went undetectable from the CT scan.

Nitin further revealed that Rahul is currently being treated at the Nanavati hospital and that Roy’s brother has informed that he is stable now. Nitin also said that he is paying for Rahul’s medical expenses.

In an interview with ETimes, ‘Bigg Boss 14’ fame Nishant opened up about Roy’s health and said, “Rahul was a bit dull on Tuesday initially, and we suddenly observed that he was not able to deliver his dialogues. He was not forgetting them but he was groping for words to complete sentences, he just could not form sentences. Then, around evening, he started to behave little unusually, idhar udhar dekhne laga and we strongly sensed that something was wrong.”

Malkhani further added, “We sent him to a military hospital in Kargil. A CT scan was done on Wednesday morning to diagnose Rahul’s condition. It was not difficult to decipher the reports in detail as our director is a MBBS director, Mr Nitin Kumar Gupta. He said it is a serious matter. With military’s help he was airlifted in a helicopter to Srinagar on Thursday from where he was rushed to Nanavati’s ICU in Mumbai.”

Well, we hope Rahul has a speedy recovery and he can get back hearty and healthy.
